Extraordinary Samurai menpo mask with the “ressei” expression (ferocious), belonging to the “me-no-shita” type, known as “half-face,” distinguished by its leather surface simulating finely hammered iron. This effect is achieved through skillful embossing, giving the face deep and pronounced wrinkles.

Particularly notable is the generously sized nose, adding a distinctive element to the mask’s face. The imposing chin, also emphasized by artistic craftsmanship, imparts an aura of strength and determination.
