Exceptional ivory okimono depicting two kingfishers, with blond and black horn eyes resting on a horn base to simulate lotus flower. The one on the left has just caught a toad, while the other holds a long seaweed in its beak that caresses its left wing. Signed Teihō with ivory engraving. Tokyo School.
